Thank you for shopping with BIGGLE Souvenirs & Gift Shop. We are committed to processing and delivering your authentic Canadian keepsakes, local Edmonton gifts, and pure maple products safely and promptly.

1. Order Confirmation & Processing Time

  • Order Review: All orders are reviewed and confirmed within 24 hours of placement (Monday through Saturday).
  • Standard Dispatch: In-stock orders are typically packed and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days.
  • Tracking Information: As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive an automated shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and carrier details.

2. Out-of-Stock or Inventory Notification

While we keep our online inventory closely synchronized with our Whyte Avenue boutique, certain popular or artisan items may occasionally sell out simultaneously:

  • If an item in your order is temporarily out of stock, our team will email you within 24 hours to notify you.
  • We will offer you the choice to:
    • Exchange: Swap for an alternative style, flavor, or similar item of equal value; or
    • Refund: Receive an immediate refund for the unavailable item (or cancel the entire order for a full refund).
  • Once you reply to our email with your decision, your updated order will be dispatched within 24 hours of your response.

3. Free In-Store Pickup (Whyte Ave, Edmonton)

Skip the shipping fees and pick up your items directly at our retail store in Old Strathcona:

  • Preparation Time: In-store pickup orders are typically prepared and ready within 2 hours during regular store hours.
  • Notification: We will send you an email notification as soon as your order is ready for pickup. Please bring your order confirmation email and a valid ID to the counter.

4. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

We partner with trusted carriers including Canada Post and FedEx to provide reliable shipping:

  • Canada-Wide Free Shipping: Enjoy FREE Standard Shipping across Canada on all orders over $99 CAD (before taxes).
  • Standard Domestic Shipping (Under $99 CAD): Real-time carrier-calculated shipping rates will be displayed at checkout based on your delivery postal code and package weight. Estimated delivery is typically 2 to 7 business days depending on your province.
  • United States Shipping: U.S. customers can checkout directly on our website. Standard shipping typically takes 4 to 10 business days.
  • International Shipping: For shipping to destinations outside Canada and the U.S., please contact us at biggleedm@gmail.com before ordering for a custom shipping quote.

5. Fragile Items & Protective Packaging

Many of our souvenirs, including glass maple syrup bottles, ceramic mugs, and snow globes, require delicate handling. We package every fragile item with heavy-duty bubble wrap, protective cushioning, and reinforced cartons to ensure they withstand courier transit.

*In the rare event that an item arrives broken due to rough courier handling, please consult our Return & Refund Policy to request an immediate free replacement or refund within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (International Orders)

For orders shipped outside of Canada, the recipient is responsible for all import duties, customs fees, local taxes, and clearance charges that may be assessed by local customs authorities upon arrival.
